Children’s Liturgy takes place on Sunday Mornings at the 9:00 am Mass at Holy Spirit and the 10:30 am Mass at St. Edward’s throughout the school year.
In Children’s Liturgy we look at the Gospel for Sunday at a level and pace suitable for children of all ages. By following the seasons of the Church and understanding the signs and symbols of the Mass the children discover how the Word of God has meaning in their daily lives.
Following on from reading the Gospel there are a variety of activities including; discussion, drama and art work. Each session ends with a prayer before we re-join our families to celebrate the Eucharist.
