Consolation in times of Isolation?
Jo Boyce, a songwriter, musician, singer and worship leader, has been streaming short 10 minute video’s to raise our spirits through this difficult time. In Jo’s owns words…
We are living through the strangest of times, and I really hope and pray this message finds you safe and well.
Terms like social distancing, self-isolation and lock-down have become common parlance. And the word ‘unprecedented’ is being used with unprecedented frequency as we strive to protect each other from the spread of the Coronavirus.
In the midst of all this we are finding new ways to ‘be Church’ – new creative ways to worship together and minister to each other.
Our contribution to this new digital life of faith is a Facebook Live video reflection, each weekday evening at about 7:15pm, sharing a few words of hope and a song of consolation.
Click here for the live Facebook video (every weekday evening at 7:15 pm), and all previous video’s.
Congratulations to the 23 young people from Runcorn and Frodsham who were Confirmed by Bishop Brian on Tuesday 24th September at St. Edward’s! It was tricky trying to get the Confirmands from St. Maximilian to all look at the camera at the same time! (Sadly a couple disappeared before the photo was taken!)
St. Stephen’s Guild
Our Altar servers were enrolled into the Guild of St. Stephen last weekend! They proudly made their Guild Promises and received their medals.
Congratulations to Michael who was Baptised, Confirmed and received the Eucharist for the First time at the Easter Vigil last night.
